My First Attempt at Decoupage
So I got this "great" idea to make a picture frame for my boss for her upcoming baby shower, using Amy Butler paper to match the material she used for her baby bedding. Today I purchased the supplies so that I could try it out myself before trying it on her's. I did learn online AFTER making mine that most actually paint the inside ridge (that goes to the glass) and the edges. Instead, I tried to cut and glue the paper to wrap around, which worked for the outside edges but not so well for the inside.
Anyway...for her's I will use the painting idea, and I'm actually really excited about it! I might even do two separate frames, different sizes, with two of the different patterns she had. Now, if I could find the car stamp and punch that I need for my son's birthday party invitation and cupcake picks, I'd be very happy!

I think it looks great!! I've always wanted to try this but never have. Might have to get the supplies for the weekend. :) XOXO
